FULL AND PARTIAL DENTURES

Full dentures replace all of your upper, lower, or sometimes both sets of teeth. They are fitted into an acrylic base that is crafted to look like your gums. An upper denture features a plate, which covers the roof of your mouth, while the lower denture is horseshoe-shaped and rests securely on the gum and bone tissues.

Dentures can either replace all of your teeth or only some of your teeth. Dentures that replace all of your teeth are known as complete dentures while ones that replace some are known as partial dentures. Partial dentures fill in the gaps of any missing teeth while anchoring to remaining teeth.  They are attached to a metal frame that is connected to your natural teeth and are used to fill in where permanent teeth have been removed.
